Wonderful establishment!!! Kind staff! Customer service is legit! Their Ramen is superior and hella filling! I used to come to O/side for work and the theater. Add Umi to that list, now!!!
I ordered the Vegetables Udon ($10.81 in total). Comes with veggie broth, mushrooms, carrots, bell peppers, seaweed, udon noodles, cabbage, green onions/chives. The food was really good! Even after my food got cold on my way home, it was still delicious :). The food is bigger than what it looks like in the photo. I also loved the fact that it was at a reasonable price. I really recommend for the waiter to be a little more warm towards the customers. Other than that, this place is great!
Ordered the ribs with miso soup and a spicy salmon hand roll on the side. I was headed to the movies and had 35 minutes to kill. Good thing I did as it is not very fast. Not horrible slow but if you only have 10 minutes this is not the place to be. Food Quality: Ribs were delicious. Miso soup was bland. Spicy salmon HR was made incorrectly (not spicy) and when they fixed it all they did was squeeze Sriracha on top vs making it correct and mixing it proper. Disappointing. Restaurant was clean enough.
Great place for dinner. We each got the teriyaki shrimp, and beef bowls, also the salmon roll. The beef in the bowl was tender and delicious. Shrimp was plentiful, and the salmon roll hit the spot. Came away with full and satisfied bellies, would definitely eat here again!
My wife and I love Sushi. We stopped here on our vacation to Oceanside and loved it. It's delicious, affordable, and a nice clean space. If you are looking for good Sushi this is the place.
This spot is a hidden gem that is worth discovering! You'd know what I mean if u've been there ( It's hiding in the corner). Might be hard to locate from the street if you're coming up from the beach, easier to see if you're walking towards the beach. Owner is super nice and friendly but most importantly, the food is spot on! It is quickly servced and delicious! I ordered beef teriyaki plate with mixed tempura and jalapeno bomb to share with my hubby and we thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The beef teriyaki was tender, tempura was crispy and jalapeno bomb wasn't spicy- just perfect, it's a must try. I highly recommend this place!
Delicious! The cook accidently made my roll with eel sauce (it happens!) And i decided to eat it anyway and the owner? brought us over some spring rolls on the house ! Highly recommend!
